after all the buzz about the First Lady wearing a Jason Wu design...he's certainly gotten a lot of hype. but don't think of it as hype...this guy is good. his new fall line is covered in tiered dresses, deliciously full skirts, heavy embroidery, all inspired by Alice in Wonderland. i deem this line perfect for any princess.

floral decadence

everywhere you look the fashion world is cooing "floral, floral, FLORAL", so clearly, that's what us girlies are supposed to be into for the summer. but what about me - the girl that hasn't been hit by "flower power" bug? enter, burberry. [pause] for a moment of swooning...



these gorgeous petal necklaces look like heavy artillery, but still exude the delicate intimacy of life and spring. ok, so maybe i'm getting way to into this, but can you blame me?

williamson breaks into regular retail

i don't often frequent h&m...but i do admit, whenever they bring in a new designer, i have to do the quick glance-through. may 14th, they will be launching their guest designer, matthew williamson's line, and it looks to be promising. vibrant hues and flashy prints on silk, chiffon and sequins. i'm actually looking forward to it.

TOPSHOP! USA styleeee

exactly HOW excited are we that TOPSHOP is opening up in the US?  i mean, i was ecstatic i didn't have to translate pounds into dollars anymore, when they created the TOPSHOP US website for the hipsters on this side of the globe; but now i can actually touch the clothes before i purchase? its too good to be true!  no literally, it's too good to be true...seeing how the opening date has been pushed back a couple times already. but apparently, this time it's official: APRIL 2ND on 478 Broadway. there's even a couple rumors kate moss might show up on opening day. we can only hope, right?
